It is the last two modules before the end of this degree
- Make more work because that's where the majority of the grade comes from
- Make the best work that we can
- The submission for this year has been shifted to May
- As a collective we can submit late but this means that we graduate late
The end of year show:
- We need to come up with a solution
- Online? Printed? But we will have to submit an online version anyway
We do have support due to our previous grades. This means that if our grades dip in specific areas we are backed by our previous grades.
We have to come up with a list of what we need to take home because due to the lockdown we can't access the university building.
There are changes to the timetable.
Module 5
- Nothing unusual about the module
- There will be crits every week
- Studio time will be at home, just like in the previous module
- Try to get out and visit galleries when we can (Primary Research)
- Try communicating with other photographers
- Raise standards about how and why our work exists
- Formal Qualities?
- What are mine? Can't ignore the feminism aspect
- Must contact specific staff members who works within the same media
- Could collaborate with an online exhibition
- Resolved work (when a project a finished and there isn't any room for improvement)
- Everything could be submitted onto my website
Module 4
- There was supposed to be a conference but due to the Lockdown this cannot happen. (How can we change this?)
- It involves all year groups but it is led by third years
- Drawing from Module 5 (the practical work)
- This is to get us thinking about preparing for our masters (presenting to students)
- The presentation is important
Contact Time:
- We can arrange 1-1 tutorials with tutors though Teams
- Sign up for classes that we feel will help us within this project
On Tuesday 8th we have a lecture with a guest speaker about working within the art community and how to access funding from the local council.
