All Abstract Nature Photography

These photographs aren't as strong as my home ones because they are quite literal in nature. I photographed the surface of water in order to abstract my photographs, but this is something which has been explored countless times by different photographers. This then led me to focus less on photographing these environments and instead video them, much like how I have with my home videos. I wanted to try to capture the sounds and movements within the landscapes. The purpose behind this is that I want to try to make as many videos as I can in order to make an installation. This installation would consist of multiple screens which played multiple videos at the same time. I wanted it to be disorientating for the audience. 

 

All Abstract Home photography

The following photographs are all of my chosen images from my entire abstract home photographs. As I have gone through this project and made more photographs I can see a change with how they present themselves. Previously my home photographs were dark, emotional, and absent of hope but as I've progressed I have noticed how optimistic my latest images are. The are simplistic in nature and heavily feature white light which almost reminds me of rebirth and hope. For my exhibition I will choose a few of these to go alongside my first group of images.
