Chosen Scotland Photographs

This selection of photographs are what I know to be my strongest from Scotland. In fact, I know that these images are the strongest images that I have made throughout my years at University. I have developed a style, a voice. I made these images by purposefully looking for natural horizontal lines within the landscape which allowed me to create these abstract landscapes. I chose to use a wider lens because I wanted to capture the overwhelming sensation of being free from all responsibilities and the  discovery of your freedom. This style I developed was inspired by Thomas Joshua Cooper, Andreas Gursky, Fay Godwin and Jackie Ranken.

To develop further I am going to experiment with pixelating the images which is something that I had wrote about within my project proposal. I also want to experiment with placing my written notes either on top of my images or around the image. I am going to experiment with these ideas within photoshop.
