This latest exhibition that I had been a part of alongside with fellow students from the Second Year BA Students from Barnsley College was the most ambitious and daring exhibition to be organised by students. The venue which we chose was the newly built Barnsley Indoor Market building. We chose this building because it was in the centre of Barnsley which would create the opportunity for the whole general public to see our work. It also gave us the opportunity to challenge how fine art should be displayed to the public. From the feedback that we received from the public that came and saw our work, this was of exhibiting work should be adopted by other artists and galleries. Members of the public felt that it brought a new atmosphere to the area and brought many different types of people together. If we are to be given another opportunity to collaborate with the Barnsley Indoor Market we would happily exhibit there again.
